I will always remember how much Linda loved Yoda. She was a Star Wars fan and we shared so many great weekends at the lighted oak. She was the binder, the glue in so many friendships. Just always a wonderful mom and incredible woman. I love the thought that a previous poster mentioned Andy Gordon. They are together and we will move forward!

I was totally caught off guard when I received a message from one of my lifelong friends .Some of my best memories of my younger days were spending the night or swimming with Linda . Always remember her bright beautiful blue eyes. We have spoken over the years and kept up with each other on Facebook. You always think you have time to visit or call someone, sadly we are not promised tomorrow. Love one another Now !
Sending prayers and condolences to her Mom and Dad ,Nick and her children . She was definitely a bright light to everyone who knew her. Love Always Deanna ( Brewer) Wooten and Bea Brewer Bryant

Linda was one of the best friends a person could’ve ever had. Her heart was golden. I will forever cherish the friendship and memories we had. I can see you and Andy now finding the closest fishing hole. I love you my friend RIP.

As Ms. Swinney said, Linda loved to fish. I remember as teens, she would make dough balls and we would go catch shiners all day on a pole down at the end of the road. This is absolutely shocking news. My words do not seem to go together to well right now.
I pray that everyone that knew Linda finds peace in knowing that she is now with our Lord and awaiting all of our return home. I pray God grants us insight into the truth of his creation so that we can trully internalize that our loss today will be a joyous reunion to come.
I'm sure she is now dragging Andy Gordon and everyone else there down to the creek to do a little fishing. I'm sure she and Peter will hit it off gloriously. Please bless all of Linda's family and friends and be with them through this moment of grief. Reassure them in their hearts of your truth and let them know that Linda's passing is really not the end but just the beginning of her everlasting life with you.
Until we meet again my friend!

Me and Linda hit it off right of the bat. We both Loved to fish and go to the lake as often as possible. We were very close friends for many years. Actually until I move back to Texas in 2010. I talked to her a few months ago when my mom passed away. I can't really explain the emotions that I'm feeling. I know she will be missed so much but please remember all the good times We all had together. Linda you will be missed so much but you are also so blessed, you are now with the Lord and all his mighty love. You and my mom go fishing, she'll go with you. I love you and will miss you so much.
