Obituary of Larry Barber

Larry Barber, 74, a resident of Pineview, GA, passed away on July 4, 2023. He was a proud veteran who served in the Vietnam War. After his military service, Larry enjoyed a fulfilling career as a sales manager at GEICO, where he excelled for many years before retiring.

 

Larry was the youngest child of his late parents, Stonewall and Cordie Barber, and he grew up alongside his dear siblings, Jackie Crockett, Richard Barber, and Thomas Barber. 

 

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Alison Barber, and their two sons, Bryant (Rhonda) Barber and Adam (Ashley) Barber. He was a proud grandfather to Nicholas, Kaley, Joshua, and Caden. 

 

A private memorial service will be held at a later date to celebrate Larry's life.

 

Larry Barber will be remembered as a dedicated Christian, serviceman, a successful professional, farmer, and a loving family man. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with family and friends, especially his best friend Reuben Roberts. His contributions to his country, his community, and his loved ones will always be cherished. May he rest in peace.
