Obituary of Edward Masters

Fort Valley, Georgia – Edward Masters, 91, went home to be with his personal Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday, June 16, 2023. A memorial service honoring the life of Edward will be held at a later date.

Edward was born on March 29, 1932 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Masters of Birmingham, England. Edward was a hardworking man who strived to provide for those he loved. Through his hard work he had developed and operated his own boat building and repair business in Fort Valley, Georgia. Edward also enjoyed building model boats and airplanes. When Edward was not working, he could be found on a body of water sailing enjoying the beauty surrounding him. He also enjoyed golfing at Pine Needles Country Club, where he perfected the game of golf.

Left to cherish his memory, Edward leaves behind is his beloved son, Andrew Masters (Ellen); grandchildren: Nicholas Masters, Elizabeth Masters; and sister, Audrey Bourne (John). Edward is also survived by a host of extended family members and friends, including his lifelong friend, Cyndy Masters.
