Obituary of Kathleen E. Clifton

Kathleen E. Clifton, age 75, went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 28, 2022. A celebration of her life will be held at Andersonville National Cemetery on July 5th, 2022 at 2:00 PM with Father Fred Nijem officiating. Interment will follow.

Kathleen was born in Brooklyn, New York to the late Stephen Cunningham and Hedwig Beyer Cunningham on July 28, 1946. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Clifton and brother, Bill Cunningham. Kathleen worked as a registered nurse for over 30 years in Macon, GA. She took great pride in taking care of others, as well as her dear family. Kathleen enjoyed reading to her grandchildren, watching tv and most of all spending time with her family. Kathleen was also a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  

Kathleen is survived by her two daughters Larissa McWane, Tangee Clifton; grandchildren Makayla Clifton, Jordan Stewart, Chance Stewart, Abby Ali, Eli Branch, Madelynn Sapp, Annabelle Townsend and Braydon Royal; great grandchildren, Bentley Trawick and Brinlee Trawick; brother, Tim Cunningham, and a host of extended friends and family.
