Obituary of Martha Ruth Clark Register

Martha C. Register, 95, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2022. A graveside service is scheduled for Monday, March 28, 2:00pm in Magnolia Park Cemetery.

Martha was born August 13, 1926 in Montezuma, Georgia to the late Walter Leonard Clark and Flossie Lee Cox Clark. She retired as a Secretary from Robins Air Force Base. Martha was a member of the First Baptist Church of Montezuma, Women of the Moose Chapter 1353, and the Pink Ladies Auxillary at Houston Medical Center. She was a loving aunt and step mother and will be missed by everyone who knew her. In addition to her parents, Martha is preceded in death by her husband, Huston Clayton Clark; brothers: George L. Clark, Buford Clark, John E. Clark, and Calvin C. Clark; and sisters: Dorothy Clark, Mary Louise Ross, Marion Hammock, and Pauline C. Chestnut.

Martha is survived by her nieces and nephews: Deborah (Donnie) Price of Americus, Melvin (Wilma) Kinslow of Americus, Richard (Debbie) Hammock of Alabama, Mary Ann (Tom) Moody of Florida, John (Suzanne) Clark of Virginia, and Melody Garcia of Texas; and a step daughter, Shelby Jean Gray of Americus.
