Matthew, I am so lost for words you were so young and handsome. It had been quite a while since I saw you, but I remember how funny you were how you used to joke around just to try to make someone else feel better. You had such a sweet and gentle soul. Matthew you have done so much good with your life And you made your family and your friends so proud. I will always remember your sweet sweet smile!
I am so sorry for the loss of Matthew my heart and prayers go out to you. I know the pain of losing Matthew will never go away but in time in your own way you’ll learn how to cope with it. Matthews is on his last walk he’s home in the arms of God protected forever.

Mathew! I could say so much! You were one of the kindest most selfless people I ever had the pleasure of being friends with! You were always doing and thinking of others. And you always made me laugh and put a smile of everyone's face! Loved your humor! You were also there for me and MANY others... that time that I wanted to run from my problems and was about to make one of the biggest mistakes of my life.... You were there....you were there for me! Like no other had! You were sent by God (no doubt) and I know you SAVED MY LIFE! And now you've gone to be with this Lord. I was there the day you took Jesus into your heart, and I'm so very grateful you did! Love you Mathew! I'm so thankful and honored to call you friend! So many great memories and smiles! Keep blasting that music from the heavens brother! Love you. Until we meet again!

Mathew was a great friend and he is like a brother to me. Granted I wasn't their most of his life, but he was my friend. I would share my faith with him. And we would have deep conversations about life and our Heavenly Father. I went to see him on my bday back in December of 2013. And I asked for them to play my favorite song of theirs called stray dogs. The band were very cool I'm friends with most of them. I remember when they played my favorite song they would let me scream into the mic. And I was next to matt as he shred on his guitar. I'll miss him. But I'm so Happy he Has Jesus in his heart. And he has gone to be with our Heavenly Father in heaven on His right side. His name will forever be in His Lambs Book Of Life. Rest in Heaven bro. With love, Glenn Hughes. P.s. his death, has brought a new friendship between his father and I. I'm here for you charlie and your loved ones.

Mat was one of the best people I ever met. I didn't have the privilege of knowing him as long as many but for the time that I have spent with him, he made the biggest impact. He is definitely the guy who's slow to anger and will always help you no matter what. He was the best at what he did, whatever the task involved. I remember how well he played the guitar and will always remember his playing in the sales tower. I love you dude <3

I dont think there is a single person that knew Matt that at some point did not consider him to be their best friend. I know that was certainly the case for me. For about 10 years Matt was one of my best, most closest friends. When i got out of the navy my friendship with Matt was one of the only reasons i left San Diego to move back to Warner Robins. We had grown apart in the last year or so and only hung out once or twice every few months, but not because of anything like an ideological clash or personality differences or any conflict at all. I attributed it to us having adult lives now with work, school, and families. My time now is mostly consumed with class and research and i was excited to graduate and finally have time again to hang out with Matt.
I love you man. I will always remember you as one of the best friends i ever had!! The impact you have had on my life will be forever. Rest easy brother.

I've only met Mathew once but I will never forget that day. He came in to dine with Jessica and the way he looked at her was unparalleled. He cared and loved so deeply for her.
My deepest condolences
