Obituary of Shirley L. Scott

Warner Robins, GA – Shirley Lovesta Scott, 85, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2020. A graveside service will be held in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville, Ga on Monday, February 10, 2020 at 11:00AM. A visitation will be held at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory on Saturday, February 8, 2020 from 6:00PM-8:00PM. Pastor David Miller will be officiating.

Shirley was born September 3, 1934 in Jacksonville, FL to the late Harry and Cornilia Hartley. Shirley was a genuine woman who loved her family and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an avid cook and was best known for her deviled eggs. When Shirley was not cooking, you could find her enjoying cross-stitching. Shirley loved the outdoors, camping and loved riding on the back of her husband’s motorcycles. She was a spiritual woman who loved her Lord and Savior. Shirley was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend who will be greatly missed.

Shirley is survived by her four children, Wayne (Cheryl) Scott, Brian (Bonnie) Scott, Bruce (Linda) Scott, and Cheryl Scott Walker; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
