Obituary of John Alan Thompson

John A. Thompson, 70, passed away on December 26, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, December 30, 2019 in the Chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Parkway Memorial Gardens.

John was born on December 26, 1949 in Warner Robins to the late John and Pearl Thompson. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps serving 14 years before medical retiring in 1987. John was employed at RAFB and was a loving husband, grandfather and great grandfather. He enjoyed fishing, drinking coffee, watching NCIS and spending time with his German Sheppard’s, Jake and Jethro.

Survivors include his loving wife of 16 years, Tetyana Thompson of Warner Robins; son, Wayne (Mauri) Thompson of Warner Robins; daughters, Oksana (Trent) Lucas of Greenville, SC and Kim Thompson of Perry; 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; mother-in-law, Olga Kryvylko and extended family and friends.
