Obituary of Robert E. Jones

Gray: Robert E. Jones, Sr., 83, passed away on Monday May 14, 2007. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10 am Saturday in the mausoleum at Magnolia Park Cemetery in Warner Robins. Mr. Jones was born in Wiconisco, PA to the late Phillip and Anna Morris Jones. He was a WWII Navy veteran having served aboard the USS Chicago. Robert was a 33rd degree Mason of the Scottish Rite and a member of the Tyrian Lodge 111, York Rite, Tall Cedar, Eastern Star, and a Shriner. He was the Past Commander of the American Legion Post 124 in Pennsylvania and current member of Post 142 in Gray. He was a Lutheran. Survivors include his children: Robert E. Jones Jr. of Grayson, Terry Phillip Jones of Bonaire, Craig S. Jones of Gray and Donna M. Glenn of Enterprise, AL. 14 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the Masonic Children’s Home. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Friday at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.
