Obituary of Edna Gladney

Warner Robins, GA: Edna Gladney, 87, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2009. Services will be at 3:00 PM Sunday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services. Mrs. Gladney was born in Heard County, GA. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Thomas Chatman and Ella Talitha Yates Chatman and by her husband, Raleigh Gladney. She was a retired seamstress with Playtex Corp. and a member of the Centerville First United Methodist Church. Living in Eatonton, GA, she was an active member of the Concord United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school and was very proud of the children that she taught. Survivors include her daughters, Dee Noble Warren Brown of Los Angeles, CA, Gaye Regis N. Fete of Jamestown, NC, son, Jerry Betsy Noble of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, step daughters, Linda George Chesser of Warner Robins, Susan Bernie Stewart of Cumberland, MD, sister, Jeanette Henderson of Hogansville, GA, Stepson Louis Gloria Gladney, Sylvester, GA, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Centerville First United Methodist Church @ 101 Wilson Dr, Centerville, GA, 31028, in memory of Mrs. Gladney. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
