Obituary of Ruth Shields Barnett

Warner Robins: Ruth Shields Barnett, 82, passed away on Wednesday February 25, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday at Northside Baptist Church. Rev. Loy Ballard will officiate. Mrs. Barnett was born in Commerce, GA to the late John and Mattie Martin Shields and the widow of Alvin H. Barnett. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church and was retired from Manor Pharmacy. Survivors include her sons; Russ Barnett and Ken Barnett both of Warner Robins. Daughter-in-law; Connie Barnett of Perry. Grandchildren; Cory Anna Barnett, Kim Barnett, Keri Barnett and Kelli Barnett all of Perry and great grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to Northside Baptist Church, 1013 Carl Vinson Parkway, Centerville, GA 31028. The family will receive friends at the church following funeral services on Friday. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
