Obituary of Louis D. Camper

Centerville, GA: Louis D. Camper, 73, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2009, in Macon. Graveside services will be held in Lithia United Methodist Church Cemetery on Saturday, February 14th at 11:00 AM with visitation from 6 until 8 PM Friday at the Botetourt Funeral Home in Buchanan, VA. Mr. Camper was born in Lithia, VA. He was the son of the late Bernard W. Camper and Annie B. White. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a retired cable splicer with the Federal Aviation Administration. Mr. Camper enjoyed flying and held a commercial pilot license but his hobby was old automobiles. He was a member of the Model A Ford Club of America and the Antique Automobile Club of America. Survivors includes his wife, Emogene Camper of Centerville, daughters, Rachel Dusty Mosness of Byron, Cindy Clemens Meyers of Byron, grandchildren, Dillon Pate, Samantha Pate and Brooke Meyers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lithia United Methodist Church @ 21 Delong Lane, Buchanan, VA, 24066, in memory of Mr. Camper. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
