Obituary of Thomas Robert Allen

Warner Robins, GA: Thomas Robert Allen, 91, passed away Monday, January 26, 2009, at his residence. A graveside service will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 5 until 7 PM Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Allen was born in Spring Valley, New York. He was the son of the late Thomas William Allen and Claire Roth. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ivee Allen and a daughter, Patricia Begley. Mr. Allen was a retired auto body repairman with General Motors and a veteran of the United States Army-Air Force. He attended the First Baptist Church of Centerville. Survivors include his sons, Thomas Carla Allen of Bardstown, KY, Larry Allen of Hawkinsville, Robert Debbie Allen of Athens, Paul Allen of San Rafael, CA, sisters, Clara Fisher of Toms River, NJ, Carolyn Olsen of Las Vegas, NV, fourteen grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Georgia Affiliate @ One Corporate Square, Suite 127, Atlanta, GA, 30329, in memory of Mr. Allen. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
