Obituary of Betty Ray Cardell

Byron, GA: Betty Ray Cardell, 63, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2009, in Macon. Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 7 until 9 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Cardell was born in Empire, GA to the late Walter Augusta Floyd and Ester Lucas. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Willie Walker Cardell. She was a former nurse at Middle GA Hospital in Macon and a former employee at Snellgroves Seafood in Warner Robins for many years. Mrs. Cardell was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith. Survivors include her daughter, Belinda Carol Clyde Crowe of Byron, son, Billy Ray Cardell of Warner Robins, brother, C. A. Floyd of Cochran, sister, Eunice Smith of Warner Robins, and three grandchildren. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
