Obituary of James A. Sursely

Warner Robins: Mr. James A. Sursely, 83, passed away in a local hospital December 12, 2008. Funeral Services will be held at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel; Monday, December 15, 2008 at 11:00 P.M. Visitation will be Sunday, December 14, 2008 from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Mr. Sursely was preceded in death by his parents Mr. and Mrs. James Alfred Sursely, Sr. and Mrs. Louella May LaRue Sursely, also a brother James A. Sursely, III and sister Patsy Powell. Mr. Sursely was a retired Master Sergeant and veteran of the United States Air Force. Mr. Sursely was a decorated combat veteran of World War II and the Korean War being awarded the Bronze Star. Mr. Sursely is survived by his Sons: Charles Anthony Sursely, Hawkinsville, GA; Richard Jordan Sursely, Michael Leonard Sursely, and John Robert Sursely of Warner Robins, GA; Daughters; Linda Sue Wagner, Thomasville, GA; and Mary Catherine Scott, Centerville, GA., Brothers; Bob Sursely, Bay City, MI and Dick Sursely, Dallas, Texas and Sister, Sally Marotvke, of St. Louis, MO. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
