Obituary of Joseph Yuzamas

Byron, GA: Joseph ‘Joe’ Yuzamas, 62, passed away Sunday February 4, 2007, in a local hospital. Services will be at 11:00 AM Thrusday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home with burial at 2:30 PM at Andersonville National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Yuzamas was born in Macon, GA to the late Joseph C. and Edith Elizabeth Jackson Yuzamas. He was employed as computer programmer for a base contractor. While serving in the United States Air Force, Mr. Yuzamas fought in the Vietnam conflict. Survivors include his wife Christine P. Yuzamas of Byron, a son John Yuzamas, three step-sons Luigi Perez, Hans Perez and Teddy Perez all of Byron. Contributions may be made to the Heart of Georgia Hospice at 103 Westridge Dr., Warner Robins, GA, 31088, in memory of Mr. Yuzamas. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
