Obituary of Conrad Guimond

Warner Robins: Conrad â??Samâ?쳌 Guimond, 78, passed away Friday May 30, 2008. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 AM Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Father Fred Nijem will officiate. Mr. Guimond was born in Westbrook, Maine to the late Romeo and Martha Beaulieu Guimond and was the widower of Eileen â??Leeâ?쳌 Guimond. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He was a retired Chief Master Sargeant having served 33 years in the US Air Force and was also retired civil service from Robins AFB. He was the founder of The Soup Kitchen at First United Methodist Church. Survivors include his children: Chris Guimond and his fiance Connie Giegerich of Bonaire, Steve Stephanie Guimond and Cindy Jeff Kinser all of Kathleen, sister Rachel Hebert of Port Orange, FL, grandchildren: Amanda Guimond, Sam Guimond, Luke Kinser and Kelcie Kinser. Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church Soup Kitchen, 205 N. Davis Dr., Warner Robins, GA 31093. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Sunday at Heritage Memorial Funeral home.
