Obituary of Sue Lumpkin Hancock

Warner Robins: Sue Lumpkin Hancock, 86, passed away on Thursday May 29, 2008. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Sunday in the Chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park. Dr. Jimmy R. Asbell Jr. will officiate. Mrs. Hancock was born in Butler, GA to the late Grady and Maude H. Windham Smith and was the widow of Joseph H. Lumpkin, Sr. and Harry P. Hancock. She was also preceded in death by three sisters. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, the Fidelity Sunday School Class and was retired from Robins AFB. Survivors include her sons: George F. Lane Lumpkin of Bonaire and Joseph H. LaRee Lumpkin Jr. of Tampa, FL. Grandchildren: Cheryl L. Brian Parham of Rogers Arkansas, Robert F. Lumpkin of Warner Robins, John J. Lumpkin of Tampa FL and Mark D. Jennifer Lumpkin of Comer, GA. Great granddaughters Keren and Kelly Parham. Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 205 N. Davis Dr., Warner Robins, GA 31093. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Saturday at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.
