Obituary of Elton L. Clements

Byron, GA: Elton L. Clements, 80, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2008 at his residence. Services will be at 2:00 PM Monday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 7 until 9 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Clements was born in Tift County, GA. He was the son of the late Lonzie & Georgia Lee Hipps Clements. He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Sean Patrick Swanson. Mr. Clements moved to Warner Robins in 1956 and was a general contractor until he retired. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Survivors include his wife, Bonnie S. Clements of Byron, children, Larry Marie Clements, Faye Patrick Swanson, Mary Thompson, Barbara Steve Bertram, and James Candy Clements all of Warner Robins, sisters, Magalene Camp of Omega, Liola Bruce of Atlanta, 16 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
