Obituary of I. M. Skipper

Warner Robins: I. M. â??Macâ?쳌 Skipper, 86, passed away on Monday March 10, 2008. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Thursday at First United Methodist Church in Warner Robins. Burial will follow in the Liberty United Methodist Church Cemetery in Macon. Mr. Skipper was born in Bibb County to the late John F. and Annie Ruth Howe Skipper and was the widower of Effie Stewart Skipper. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Wesley Fellowship Sunday School Class. He served in the US Army during WWII and was also a member of the Tyrian Masonic Lodge 111 and a Thirty Second Degree Mason. Survivors include his children: Gwen Milam, Lynette Martin and Mack Skipper all of Warner Robins and Adrienne Wilson of North August, SC. Siblings: Sara Whitten, Ercelle Middlebrooks, Jeanette Talley, Douglas Skipper, and Charlie Holt all of Macon. Eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 250 N. Davis Dr., Warner Robins, GA 31093. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Wednesday at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.
