Obituary of Marie B. Cavender

WARNER ROBINS Marie B. Cavender, 72, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2008. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at New Elim Baptist Church with Pastor Johnny Baggett officiating. Interment will be held at 3:00 PM at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery with Pastor Eddie Windham officiating. Mrs. Cavender, a native of Macon, was the daughter of the late Calvin L and Martha Smith Brooks and wife of the late Robert Allen Cavender Sr. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include her children, Patsy Oglesby Tommy of Warner Robins and Robert Allen Cavender of Griffin. One sister, Thelma Strickland of Barnesville, grandchildren, Pam Price Todd of Byron and Beth Maddox James of Kathleen, great grandchildren, Haley Price, Zack Price, Raven Maddox , Thomas Maddox and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations be made to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the caring staff of the Warner Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
