Obituary of Wayne Lewis Register

Warner Robins, GA: Wayne L. Register, 59, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2008 in a local hospital. Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at the Hardison Baptist Church, Highway 42, Byron, GA. with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Register was born in Macon, GA. He was preceded in death by his father, Edwin Register. He was a retired aircraft sheet metal mechanic from Robins Air Force Base. After serving four years in the United States Air Force, Mr. Register served in the Army National Guards. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and an avid deer hunter. Survivors include his wife, Judy H. Register of Warner Robins, daughter Lori Eric Walker of Lizella, stepchildren, Jodi Sorrow of Warner Robins, Jami John Hoselton of Kathleen, T.J. Sorrow of Warner Robins, mother, Margie Register of Macon, sisters, Lynn Register of Byron, Cathy Bowen of Danville and one grandchild, Emily Walker of Lizella. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
