Obituary of Robert L. Townsend

Warner Robins, GA: Robert L. â??Bobâ?쳌 Townsend, 55, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2008 in a local hospital unexpectly. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 19th, in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be private. Mr. Townsend was born in Glendale, AZ. He was preceded in death by his two sons, Cameron and Ryan Townsend. He was the owner and operator of the Townsend & Sons, Inc. in Warner Robins. Mr. Townsend was a Director with the Advanced Programs for Central Aviation Services in Ontario, CA, a contractor with Mid Georgia Software Associates in Warner Robins and worked along with several other Aero Space Companies. He was a member of the Warner Robins Chamber of Commerce and a veteran of the United States Air Force. Survivors include his wife, Marilyn S. Townsend of Warner Robins, mother, Ann Crawford & her partner Bob Boyd both of Acworth, father, Lawrence J. Townsend of FL, stepsons, Timothy Bullard & Gerald Tricia Bullard all of CA, brothers, John Crawford of CA & Dustin Kathy Crawford of OH, sister, Mary Bob Box of TN, five grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society @ P.O. Box 4406, Macon, GA, 31208 or to your favorite charity in memory of Mr. Townsend. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
