Obituary of Marian Bruce Lord

Warner Robins, GA: Marian Bruce Lord, 82, passed away Monday, November 12, 2007, in a local hospital. Services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, November 15th , in the chapel of May & Smith Funeral Directors in Sandersville, GA. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 PM Wednesday, November 14th, at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Tabernacle United Methodist Church Cemetery in Washington County, GA following the service on Thursday. Mrs. Lord was born in Thomas County, GA to the late Hansel E. Bruce and Mary Freeman Bruce. She was a member of the Green Acres Baptist Church in Warner Robins and a homemaker. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Hugh Dorsey Lord of Warner Robins, daughters, Susan Ricky Ganus of Warner Robins, Marian Ruth Day of Jeffersonville, sons, Hugh D. Cindy Lord, Jr. of Jeffersonville and John Lord of Warner Robins, sister, Mollie Dal Logue of Bainbridge, GA, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Flowers will be accepted but those who wish, may make donations to Green Acres Baptist Church Building Fund at 901 Elberta Rd., Warner Robins, GA, in memory of Mrs. Lord. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
