Obituary of James Doyle Jones

Byron: James Doyle Jones, 75, passed away on Tuesday October 23, 2007. A celebration of his life and love will be held at 6 PM Thursday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be private. Rev. Sam Lamback will officiate. Mr. Jones was born in Rochelle, GA. He was a member of Byron United Methodist Church and a former member of the Byron Lions Club. Survivors include his wife Faye M. Jones of Byron. Children: Mark Jones of Memphis, TN, Laura Lynn Ray of Warner Robins, Vanessa Roberts of LaFayette, LA. Step-daughter Susan Gil Leonard and her daughter Brandy Holt of Eatonton. Siblings: Mildred Coleman of Rochelle, Lavonia Coleman of Dallas, Shirley McLain of Adel, Carolyn McDevitt of Decatur, Yvonne Windtlend of Marietta and Gwendolyn Avery of Lithia Springs. Grandchildren: Ricky and Shane Ray of Warner Robins and Mike Roberts of Lousiana. The family will receive friends from 4 ? 6 PM Thursday at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.
