Obituary of Inis Crawford Dickerson

Warner Robins: Inis Crawford Dickerson, 85, passed away on Friday October 26, 2007. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Dickerson was born in Aberdeen, MS to the late George and Mary Inis Richardson Crawford and was the widow of Joe Frank Dickerson. She was a member of First United Methodist Church where she was secretary of the Wesley Fellowship Sunday School Class from 1965 until 2002. She was also a member of the Tombigbee Chapter of the DAR and was a retired item manager from Robins AFB. Survivors include her daughter Mary Dickerson Tommy Bowman of Warner Robins. Siblings: George Ruth Crawford Jr., Frances Billy Wilemon all of Aberdeen, MS, Ben Shelloy Crawford of Oxford, MS. Grandchildren: Tony DeCastro, Tiffany Sean Flaherty and Ashley Bowman. Twin great grandsons Graeme Crawford Flaherty and Liam Michael Flaherty. Sisters-in-law: Mary Lavelle Duke of Kosciusko, MS, Elsie Fail of Gulfport, MS. Brothers-in-law W. L. Dickerson of Jackson, MS Edward Dickerson of Hot Springs, VA. Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 205 N. Davis Dr. Warner Robins, GA 31093. The family will receive friends from 7 ? 9 PM Monday at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.
