Obituary of Linda Patterson Slappey

Byron, GA: Linda Patterson Slappey, 50, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2007. Services will be at 3:00 PM Wednesday at Lawrence Drive Baptist Church in Macon with burial in Oaklawn Cemetery in Ft. Valley. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Slappey was born in Mobile, AL. She was previously employed as a X-Ray Technician with the Medical Center of Central Georgia and at the Forsyth Street Orthopaedic Surgery & Rehab. Center in Macon. Mrs. Slappey was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Warner Robins and a former member of the Lawrence Drive Baptist Church in Macon. Survivors include her husband Emmett Slappey of Byron, two daughters Angela Slappey of Byron, Kimberly S. Brad Grant of Macon, granddaughter Ashley Ann Grant of Macon, parents Wayne & Daisy Patterson of Warner Robins, brother Tony W. Patterson of Atlanta, mat. grandmother Lena McAnally of Mobile, AL, several aunts & uncles and cousins.
