Obituary of Emmette Wallace Ford

Warner Robins: Emmette Wallace Ford, Sr., 85, passed away on Saturday May 5, 2007. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 am Monday at First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Mr. Ford was born in Worth County to the late George and Mary Childs Ford. He was a member, former Deacon and Sunday School Secretary at First Baptist Church. He was retired from Robins AFB. He served in the US Army during WWII and fought in the Tunisian, Sicilian, Normandy, Northern France, Ardennes, Rhineland and Central Europe Campaigns. His grandson, John Daniel Ford, and brothers, George, Joe and Childs Ford, all preceeded him in death. Survivors include wife Myrajean Ford of Warner Robins. Sons: Emmette Wallace Joann Ford of Byron and Daniel Bud Ford of Warner Robins. Siblings: Franklin Ford of Cuthbert, Helen Ford Russell Frazier of Tifton, Grace Revis Harold Moore of Warner Robins and Sheila Ford Bill Kueker of Albany. Grandchildren: E. Wallace Ford III and Myra Doris Ford. Memorial Contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church, 1135 Watson Blvd., Warner Robins, GA 31088 or Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Dr., Warner Robins, GA 31088. The family will receive friends from 3-5 pm Sunday at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.
