Obituary of John R. Hill

Warner Robins: John R. Hill, 77, passed away on Sunday February 11, 2007. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sandy Valley Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Rev. Phil Bryant will officiate. Mr. Hill was born in Roanoke, VA to the late Hugh and Pearle Kinsey Hill. He was retired from the US Air Force. He was a member and Deacon at Sandy Valley Baptist Church. He was also a member of the VFW and the Moose Lodge. He was a past Governor of the Moose Lodge 1688 and had also served as Secretary in the State organization for over 20 years. Survivors include his wife Barbara L. Hill of Warner Robins. Children: Lynn Wayne Rackley, Ellen David Hastings all of Warner Robins, Rosemary Jerry Willhite of Canton, OH, John R. JoAnn Hill Jr. of Amarillo, TX and David Dorothy Hill of Bonaire. Brother: James S. Carol Hill of Winston-Salem, NC. Six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sandy Valley Baptist Church Building Maintenance Fund, 1124 S. Houston Lake Rd., Warner Robins, GA 31088. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.
