Obituary of Joe Thomas Harrell

Warner Robins, GA: Joe T. Harrell, Sr., 78, passed away Friday in a local hospital. Services will be at 3:00 PM Sunday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Mr. Harrell was born in Dodge County, Georgia to the late Cecil Derrell Harrell and Annie Maude Yancey.He was a retired aircraft mechanic from Robins Air Force Base and a veteran of the United States Navy. Mr. Harrell was a member at Central Baptist Church and the Pete Joyner Sunday School Class. Survivors include his wife Jane Parker Harrell of Warner Robins, children Joe T. Harrell, Jr. and Bonnie Mooring both of Warner Robins, brothers James L. Harrell of Byron, Cecil G. Harrell of Macon and Roy D. Harrell of Eastman, sister Galdys L. Lindsey of Eastman, grandchildren Ashley Baughcum and Christy Pitman and two great grandchildren Shelby Baughcum and Brian Pitman both of Warner Robins. Contributions may be made to Central Baptist Church Building Fund, Joy in the Journey, at 1120 lake Joy Rd., Warner Robins, GA, 31088 in memory of Mr. Harrell. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
