Obituary of Nathan L. Cook

Warner Robins, GA: Nathan ?Nat? L. Cook, 75, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2006. Services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 7 until 9 PM Friday evening at the funeral home. Mr. Cook was born in Chauncey, GA. He was the son of the late Nathan Genie Cook and Lula Mae Reaves Cook .He was also preceded in death by a brother Freddie Cook. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served in the Korean conflict. Mr. Cook was a member of the VFW of Warner Robins were he was the past Post Commander and Quarter Master. He was a member of the American Legion Post 172, a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a member of the Sweetwater Baptist Church in Dodge County, GA. Survivors include his wife Maryloretta Cook of Warner Robins, son Kim Lynn Cook of Bonaire, stepchildren Charles Pat Blanton of Warner Robins, Kathey Dick Powell of New Smyrna Beach, FL, John Tracy Flowers of Byron, Jerald A. Flowers of Reading, PA, Jan Flowers of Warner Robins, Criket Petrie of Warner Robins, Donne’ Slonaker of Centerville, brothers Kennith Cook of Warner Robins, Herman Cook of Brunswick, Rick and Donald Cook both of Eastman, Jean Smith of Cochran and Juanita White of Oklahoma City, OK, 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
