Obituary of Vernis E. Butler

Byron: Vernis E. ?Buck? Butler, 87, passed away on Monday January 15, 2007. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the mausoleum at Parkway Memorial Gardens. Rev. James D. McCullough will officiate. Mr. Butler was born in McGrath, MN to the late Charles and Georgina Butler. He was an Army Air Corps veteran and retired from Robins AFB. His son, Charles Butler, preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife Phyllis Butler of Byron. Children: Vernon Linda Butler of Wichita, KS, Karen Ray Cline, Delvin Jowana Butler all of Byron. 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends following services at the cemetery. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
