Obituary of Robert Herman Newman

Warner Robins, GA: Robert H. Newman, 83, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2007. Services will be at 10:30 AM Tuesday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 until 8 Monday evening at the funeral home. Mr. Newman was born in Sumter, SC to the late Robert E. and Donnie Modlin Newman. He was a member of the All Saints Episcopal Church. Mr. Newman was a retired Procurement Supervisor from Robins Air Force Base. While in the Army Air Corp., he fought in the W.W. II conflict. He was a member of the DAV. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Evelyn ?Betty? Newman of Warner Robins, daughter Linda Dennis Thompson of Byron, son Robert ?Bobby? Marguerite Newman of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, sister Doris Felkel of Sumter, SC, three grandchildren, one great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the All Saints Episcopal Church at 1708 Watson Blvd, Warner Robins, GA, 31093, or to the donors choice. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
