Obituary of Charles E. Anderson

Centerville, GA: Charles E. Anderson, 72, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, August 31, 2006. Services will be at 3:00 PM Saturday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 PM Friday evening at the funeral home. Mr. Anderson was born in Cook County, GA to the late Grover and Elizabeth Conine Anderson. He was also preceded in death by a son, Charles Glen Anderson. He was a retired paint mixer for Armstrong World Industries in Macon and a member of the Trinity Baptist Church. Mr. Anderson was a loving husband, father and grandfather and loved going camping and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Family Motor Coach Association and a member of the National Rifle Association. Survivors include his wife Judy Shiver Anderson of Centerville, daughter Teresa James Hammond of Lizella, son Richard A. Anderson of Macon, sisters Mary Cucci and Edna Parker both of Macon, Laura Deberry of Dudley, Sue Spacek of Lizella, grandchildren Craig Anderson, Richie Anderson and Aron Hammond Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
