Obituary of Wiley L. Hood

Kathleen, GA: Wiley L. Hood, 93, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2006, in a local hospital. Services will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 until 9 PM Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Hood was born in Riverdale, GA to the late Doctor Franklin and Sara Elizabeth Hemperly Peevy. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George A. Hood. Mrs. Hood was of the Methodist faith and was a homemaker. Survivors include her son Michael Hood and his wife Joyce both of Kathleen, grandchildren Caryn Michele Hood of Kathleen, Rev. William Douglas Hood and wife Grace both of PA and Pastor Michael Wayne Hood and wife Nancy both of FL, daughter-in-law Iline Hood of Statesville, NC and three great grandchildren. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
