Obituary of Emory Nelson Draughon

King, NC: John C. ?Chris? Mullis, 48, died Saturday January 14, 2006. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery. Rev. David Miller will officiate. Mr. Mullis, a native of Ft. Valley, was a member of the Hawkinsville Masonic Lodge 9. He had also served in the National Guard and worked for R. J. Reynolds Tobacco. Survivors include his wife Sarah Suzanne Mullis of King, NC. Children: Daniel Christopher Mullis, and his fiancee Cheryl, Stephen Andrew Mullis all of Hawkinsville. Mother: Virginia Webb of Ft. Valley. Father and step-mother: John Edward and Betsy Mullis of Centerville. Siblings: Donald Edward Mullis of Ft. Valley, Alan Mark Mullis of Greensborough, NC, Patricia Elizabeth Farr of Kathleen. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
