Obituary of Mary Alice Sanders

Macon: Mary Alice Barwick Sanders, 86, died Saturday January 14, 2006. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Roberta Cemetery. Minister Mike Miles, Rev. David Prim and Rev. Peter Gibson will officiate. Ms. Sanders, a native of Schley County, was the the daughter of the late Bennie and Bessie Rigsby Barwick. She was a member of the North Macon Church of Christ and a former member of the Odd Fellows and the Business Women’s Club. Survivors include her children: Onie Sanders of Macon, Rod Sanders of Roberta. Sister: Jeanette Chambley of Montezuma. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
