Obituary of Steve J. Rawls

Warner Robins: Steve J. Rawls, 79, passed away on Monday September 18, 2006. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Father Fred Nijem will officiate. Mr. Rawls was born in Poland and came to America following WWII. He became a United States citizen and served in the US Air Force. He later retired from Robins AFB. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. Survivors include his wife Patsy Rawls of Warner Robins. Children: Steve Vida Rawls of Byron, Patti Tony Boswell and Cindy Rawls all of Loganville, Scott Audrey Rawls of Suwanee. Sister Terry Newsome of Sandy Springs. Grandchildren: Jake Rawls, Ben Rawls, Austin Boswell, Lindsey Boswell, Bryce Rawls and Madison Rawls. A Rosary will be said at 7 pm Wednesday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Building Fund, 205 S. Davis Dr., Warner Robins, GA 31088. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
