Obituary of Charles L. Shugart

Bonaire, GA: Charles L. Shugart, 76, passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2006. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 PM Thursday evening at the funeral home. Mr. Shugart was born in Etowah, TN to the late Virgil and Wilma Byrum Shugart. He was retired from Robins Air Force Base where he worked in logistics. Mr. Shugart was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and attended Bonaire United Methodist Church in Bonaire. He was a Mason and served as Past Master of a Masonic Lodge in Texas. Survivors include his wife of over 50 years Eva Shugart of Bonaire, daughters Patty Naugle Gary Sr., Liza Joiner Steve, son Charlie Shugart, II Kim Noles all of Bonaire, grandchildren William Naugle, Gary Naugle, Jr., Stephen Joiner, Stephanie Joiner, Kelly Shugart and Sydney Shugart, sisters Minnie Wall of Athens, TN, Jo Henry of Maryville, TN, brother Henry Shugart of Resaca, GA. Heritage Memorial Funeral is in charge of arrangements.
