Obituary of Frances Carol Blaxton

Warner Robins, GA: Frances Carol Blaxton, 76, passed away Sunday, Oct. 30, 2005 in a local hospital. Services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday in the First United Methodist Church of Warner Robins with burial in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 until 9 PM Monday evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Blaxton was born in Hazlehurst, GA to the late Morris and Mamie Lou Colson Walters. She was also preceded in death by a son, Michael Wayne Blaxton. Mrs. Blaxton was a teacher and a secretary for Happy Hour School for many years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, a member of the Wesley Fellowship Sunday School Class and a member of the United Methodist Women Circle 4. Survivors include her husband Maxwell D. Blaxton of Warner Robins, son Stan Brenda Blaxton of Warner Robins, daughter Dr. Teresa Murray Garnick Blaxton of Vienna, VA, seven siblings, Jewel Moye, Christine Anderson, Lorna Hasty, Sadel Edenfield, Betty Burnsen, Delores Norris and Brad Walters, three grandchildren Chad Ellen Blaxton, Whitney Chad Martin and Alexandria Garnick, one great granddaughter Kayleigh Martin and a number of nieces and nephews. Contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church at 205 N. Davis Dr., Warner Robins, GA, 31093, in memory of Mrs. Blaxton. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
