Obituary of Barbara Crowe

Barbara A. Crowe walked into the arms of her Lord and Savior Sunday, January 15, 2023. She was 85 years old. Barbara was born in Gadsden, Alabama May 19, 1937 to the late Charlie and Teresa (McGriff) Steward.  A visitation will be held Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 11 AM to 12 PM, with the funeral service following at 12 PM. Rev. Dennis Clark will be officiating.  A private interment will  immediately follow at Parkway Memorial Gardens.  

Barbara was a hard working individual and a devoted mother.  In her spare time, she could be found working in her yard tending to her flowers or in the kitchen whipping up a good southern dish.  She was well know for her delicious meals and desserts.   Her dog Max, whom has preceded her in death was her dear companion.  She will be greatly missed by all who loved and adored her. 

She is survived by her son, Danny (Regina) Crowe; sister Betty Young; brother Mac Steward and a host of nieces and nephews. 

 
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
