Obituary of Judith Ann Oehlert

Judith "Judy" Ann Oehlert of Warner Robins, GA passed away at Piedmont Healthcare on October 6, 2022, at the age of 86 years old.  A celebration of her life will be held at Bonaire Church, Monday, October 10, 2022 at 11:00 AM. A committal service will immediately follow at Parkway Memorial Gardens. The visitation for friends and family will be held at  Bonaire Church, Monday, October 10, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. 

Judy was born in Barberton, Ohio to the late Murray and Pearl Minear.  She was a graduate of Barberton High School.  Judy was a long standing member of Bonaire United Methodist Church and the Fan Alice Sunday School class.  She and her husband, Clarence "Clay" were active in visiting the elderly in nursing homes and hospitals.  Judy enjoyed many activities including playing piano, gardening, sketching and was an avid reader. Community involvement was dear to her heart and she was a leader with Girl Scouts of America as a Brownie troop leader in South Carolina. She also was a past matron of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 131. Later in life, Judy became legally blind and appreciated listening to audio books for the visually impaired.  Judy was a proud homemaker and was the number one supporter of her husband and daughter's achievements.  

Judy is survived by her husband of 67 years, Clarence "Clay" Oehlert; daughter Deborah Vetter, grandchildren: Nicole Franklin, Phillip (Amiee) Vetter; great grandchildren: Will Franklin, Asa Franklin, Noah Franklin, and Carsen Vetter.
