Obituary of William Virgil Tharpe

Centerville, GA- William Virgial Tharpe, 79, passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Thursday, October 6, 2022, 11:00am in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory.
William was born June 6, 1943 in Pinehurst, Georgia to the late Woodroe and Eugenia Tharpe.  He retired as an Information Technology Specialist from AT&T, Nokia, and Lucent Technologies. In his younger days, William spent much of his time outdoors hunting and fishing. He was an avid Georgia Bulldogs Football fan and loved to watch Westerns. He was a loving husband and grandfather. Everyone who knew him will miss him.
William is survived by his wife of thirty-four years, Adriana Tharpe; grandsons: Charles (Christina) Hancox of Florida and Aaron Allen of Warner Robins; and great grandson, Landon Hill of Centerville.
