Obituary of Joyce Diane Meremonte

Lizella, Georgia – Joyce Diane Meremonte, 75, went home to be with her personal lord and savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, July 23, 2022. A Memorial Gathering with family and friends will be held on Monday, August 1, 2022 at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory from 6:00PM to 8:00PM.

Joyce was born on August 1, 1946 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Anita Gatti and Raymond Pierce. Joyce was a very loving individual who longed to be around those she cherished. She had possessed such a beautiful smile that would warm the hearts of many. Joyce was a very charismatic individual who would lend a helping hand to others during their time of desperation. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who taught the importance of loving others and living each day with an unwavering amount of joy.

In her free time she could often times be found working on puzzles; which she found to be a great mind game as she appreciated the challenge they presented. Joyce also loved the outdoors and enjoyed going camping and making countless memories around the campfire with her beloved family. While Joyce loved the outdoors she could be found around town hunting for “good deals” while she was shopping.

Joyce will forever be remembered for her loving personality as well as her countless acts of giving.

Left to cherish the beautiful legacy Joyce leaves behind is her loving husband of the last 32 years, David Meremonte; Children, Tammy Kasnowski, Charlie Kasnowski (Mary), Becky Pinson; Grandchildren, Pierce Kasnowski, Emily Pinson; 2 great-grandchildren, Nathan Pinson, and River Walsh.
