Obituary of Linda Nelle Taylor

Linda Nelle Taylor, 74, , went home to be with her personal Lord and Savior on Monday, June 6, 2022 surrounded by those she loved and cherished. A Memorial service honoring the life of Linda will be held at a later date. 

Linda was born on June 21, 1947 to the late Nell Thames and Robert E. Hendrickson in Macon, Georgia. Linda was a very active individual who could often times be found on a body of water with a fishing line casted awaiting for a fish to bite on the other end of the line. When she was not fishing she could often be found on the beach mesmerized by the beauty of the waves while the sunsets. She also loved traveling to the mountains where she could be seen staring off onto the mountains top admiring the beauty of the lords creation. 

Linda as a very hardworking lady who strived to provide for her beloved daughters. In fact, Linda served as a medical clerk at the Medical Center of Central Georgia for at least 20 years. During her tenure she had served the patients of Middle Georgia with honor and integrity. She also taught her family the importance of both; integrity and honesty and how it attributes to success in life. 

Linda will forever be remembered for her countless jokes, acts of giving, and her beautiful smile that would light up any room. 

In addition to her parents, there awaiting for Linda at the gates of heaven with open arms is her beloved husband, Otis Taylor. 

Left to cherish Linda’s beautiful memory is her beloved daughters, Michelle Heichelbech, Jennifer Spence (Jason); Grandchildren, Brittany Heichelbech, Shelby Heichelbech, Logan Spence, Levi Spence, Landon Spence; 7 great-grandchildren; siblings, Sherma Barthlett (Jerry), Laura Mason (Mike), Mike Matthews (Nancy), Randy Matthews (Lisa). Linda is also survived by a host of extended family members and countless friends.
