Obituary of Ervin Leroy Henderson

Ervin Leroy Henderson, age 82, passed away March 8, 2022. A graveside service with military honors will be held Monday, March 14th, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2617 Vinson Hwy, Milledgeville, GA 31061.

Ervin was born in Greenville, South Carolina to the late Owen M. Henderson and Lavinia L. McConnell on July 3, 1939.  He is also preceded in death by his brother, Bill Henderson. After graduating Parker High School, Ervin enlisted in to the United States Navy from 1957 until 1959. Ervin worked at Lee Engineering for several years and did contract work for AT&T. He also was owner and manager of Foster Care Home for Disabled Adults for 16 years. Ervin enjoyed watching T.V, sports, news, and racing. Most importantly, he enjoyed spending time with his loving family.

Ervin is survived by his wife of 37 years, Linda Henderson; children, Dwain (Robin) Henderson, Ed Henderson,  Cindy (Wayne) Gordy, Christy (Chris) Frady, Bryan Hooper, Chris (Steven) Smith; siblings, Linda (Bill) Garrett, Elaine (Bobby) Boiling,  Ann Henderson, Jerry (Carolyn) Henderson, and a host of extended friends and family.
