Hawkinsville, Georgia - Mimi Evette Johnson, 61, went home to be with her personal Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Sunday, February 27, 2022. A Visitation with family and friends will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2022, at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Mimi was born on September 19, 1960, in Perry, Georgia to Beverly Jean Massey and Harris Wright. Mimi was a strong-willed woman who liked order in all that she did. She was a loving woman who cared for those she loved and cherished. Mimi was a protective individual who would go to great lengths to ensure her family was safe. In Mimi's younger years she could oftentimes be found making beautiful ceramics for all to enjoy. When Mimi was not making ceramics, she could be found on a beautiful fairway enjoying a round of golf. She will forever be remembered as a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many.
There awaiting for Mimi at the gates of heaven is her beloved mother, Beverly Jean Massey.
Left to cherish Mimi's memory is her beloved Son, Gabe Bachelor (Julie); Father, Harris Wright; Stepfather, Johnny Tyndal; Grandchildren, Elijah Reese, Tyndall Delee; Brothers, Tommy Wright (Tammy), Scotty Wright (Laura), and Billy Wright.
