Obituary of Tarrell Thomas Parkerson

Warner Robins, Georgia – Tarrell Thomas Parkerson, 86, went home to be with his lord and savior on Sunday, December 26, 2021. A Visitation with family and friends will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. A private burial will be held on Friday at Magnolia Park Cemetery for the immediate family.

Tarrell was born on August 22, 1935 in Eastman, Georgia to the late Minnie Hutto and Theo Parkerson. Tarrell served his country proudly in the United States Air Force where he had developed a hard work ethic and a drive to provide for those he loved. Upon his discharge from the Air Force, Tarrell continued to serve his country as a civilian at Robins Air Force Base as an Electronic Technician. While being a hard worker he was often times looked upon for his independence, and his determination to keep striving on the difficult days without losing the faith. Hence, being a man who was often referred as quiet but yet so strong.

Tarrell had a true passion for the outdoors and loved being on a body of water fishing, or in a patch of woods hunting for a white tailed deer. However, nothing brought him as much joy as did those who called him “dad” and “husband”. Tarrell loved and cherished his family and made it evident through their relationship. While, the love he had for his family was unwavering, the love he possessed for his personal Lord and Savior took the outmost importance of his life. He will forever be remembered for his unwavering love, reliability, as well as his determination.

In addition to his parents there, awaiting for Tarrell at the gates of heaven is his beloved siblings, Kennie, David, and Benny.

Left to cherish his beautiful memory is his beloved bride, Patsy Gail Hughes Parkerson; Children, Tara Jo Parkerson, Ty Parkerson (Anita); Penny Taylor; Grandchildren, Blake Parkerson, Jonathan Sibert, Brandy Costigan (Michael), JD Mull (Amanda); Great Grand Children, Riley, Killian, Gabby, Zoey, Ryan, Katlyn, Wynn, Exavier, Willow, Dalton, Sylas, Luke.
