Obituary of Carol Goodwin Holton

Byron, Georgia – Carol Miller-Goodwin Holton went home to be with her personal Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 with her beloved family at her bedside. At the request of the family, all services will be private.

 

Carol was born on June 1, 1944 in Washington DC to the late Lavonnia Miller and Charles Goodwin. Carol was a very selfless individual who loved caring for those in a time of need. She was a very loving woman who loved being surrounded by those she loved and cared for. In her free time she could often times be found cooking, and sewing beautiful creations for others to enjoy. Carol was a devoted Christian who served her Lord and Savior with all of her soul, mind, and strength.

 

In addition to her parents there, awaiting for her at the gates of heaven is her beloved husband, Randy Holton, and her son, Wesley Leverette, Jr.

 

Left to cherish her memory is her loving Children, Shirley L. Rigdon, Priscilla Leverett (Kevin Hearn); Grandchildren, Summer Leverett, Casey Griffeth, Crystal Zunino (Will); Great-grandchildren, Sapphire Leverett, Devaun Hicks, Davian Hicks, Winter Jasmine Hicks, Autumn Rose Meadows, Dallas Holton, C.J. Holton, Bryce Holton, and one baby girl on the way named Sophia Rose Zunino. Carol is also survived by a host of extended family members and countless friends.
