Obituary of Wayne Rogers

Warner Robins, Georgia – Wayne Burben Rogers, 71, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 16, 2021. A Memorial Service honoring the life of Wayne will be held at a later date.

 

Wayne was born on September 16, 1950 in Douglas, Georgia to the late Wynona Jones and Willie Arbie Rogers. Wayne was a very simple man who loved to share a laugh with those he loved and cared for. He was very skilled in carpentry where he worked in many different capacities over the years. Wayne had a true love for music especially southern rock. He will forever be remembered for his humorous and charismatic personality.  

 

Ina addition to his parents Wayne is preceded in death by his beloved siblings, Judy Rogers, James Rogers, and Shirley Varner.

 

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved daughters, Neilie Rogers, Heather Rogers; Grandchildren, Jacob Ingram, Jon Ingram, Ashlynn Lifsey (Jonathan), Dalton Rogers, Trey Sorvillo; great-grandchildren, Braylen Martin, Brooklynn Lifsey; Brother, Jimmy A. Rogers. Wayne is also survived by several nieces and many extended family members.
